In June 2018, Germany was awarded the EHF EURO 2024, and now it has been decided where it will be played: The European Men’s Handball Championship, which will be held in Germany for the first time in January 2024, will start in Düsseldorf. Other host cities are Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Cologne, which already hosted the IHF Handball World Championship 2019. The city of Mannheim was able to assert itself as the sixth host.
The DHB has successfully implemented the German Championships in Berlin. For 3 days the focus was on beach handball in Berlin Mitte. We are pleased that the cooperation with the German Cancer Aid was also implemented there.
With the start of the current season, the German Cancer Aid is the new partner of the German Handball Federation in the trend sport beach handball. Together with both partners, the mm sports team developed a concept for a long-term cooperation for both sides, which was officially announced last Saturday at the beach handball anniversary tournament in Bartenbach.
