The countdown is on – we welcome the FIFA Venue Managers who are responsible for the FIFA Fan Fest
With just a few weeks left, the FIFA World Cup 2018 kicks off and preparations are in full swing, including for the planned FIFA Fan Fest. The FIFA Fan Fest Team, consisting of FIFA officials and mm sports, has spent the past few days working on a two-day workshop in Moscow for a detailed training of the so-called FIFA Venue Managers (FVMs) who are deployed at each FIFA Fan Fest location. This is one of the last milestones on the way to the implementation of the FIFA Fan Fest. The FVMs, as the local representative of FIFA, are the primary contact for Host Cities as well as for FIFA Partners and Sponsors, and assist them both in their implementation.
For this responsible and extensive task mm sports – as for previous FIFA World Cups – was able to win eleven experienced Event Managers. In a multi-stage selection process, suitable candidates were identified and committed to this challenging task in coordination with FIFA officials and are now ready to start.
More information on the planned FIFA Fan Fest and all locations is available here .
