More than 500.000 visitors have so far attended the FIFA Fan Festivals™ in the 9 host cities in Australia and New Zealand – you can’t get any closer to the event outside the stadium to experience real World Cup feeling.

Next week, the tournament will begin and the programme of the FIFA Fan Festivals in all nine host cities is set.

The FIFA Fan Festival™ events in Australia and Aotearoa-New Zealand will once again encompass much more than just sport: in addition to live broadcasts of the football matches, there will be numerous concerts and many cultural and culinary highlights.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup™, which takes place in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand this year, will feature FIFA Fan Festivals in all nine Host Cities. The successful event format goes far beyond sport to offer all fans a fun destination to watch all World Cup matches together on big screens, in addition to enjoying the best of music, entertainment, local culture and cuisine.

The FIFA Fan Festival goes global! If not all fans can come to the FIFA World Cup, bring the FIFA World Cup to the fans! Six cities will host International FIFA Fan Festivals across the globe to bring the FIFA World Cup 2022 to the doorstep of fans.

11 cities, 917 hours of live football, 646 bands, 323 hours of live music, 7.7 million visitors, free of charge and a peaceful celebration – numbers speak a definite language.

FIFA Fan Fest Besuchermarke erreicht 5 Millionen

The FIFA Fan Fest takes place every day in each of the 11 host cities of the FIFA World Cup in Russia – and it has become the “place to be” for international and Russian fans, day in day out, to celebrate the FIFA World Cup. FIFA’s Secretary General Fatma Samoura herself announced the stunning success that the 5 million visitors mark was reached with the end of the group stage.

21th June 2018 – FIFA Fan Fest – FIFA, the local organising committee and the 11 Russian host cities yesterday announced that the FIFA Fan Fest has already welcomed 2.5 million visitors, a milestone. Fans of all 32 teams have celebrated together, peaceful and colourful, at the FIFA Fan Fest events. To reach such a milestone that early seems to be the best proof that the FIFA Fan Fest, staged by FIFA since 2006 as part of the World Cup, are the best place outside the stadium to celebrate the FIFA World Cup.

Successful start to the FIFA Fan Fest™ on Sunday: around 25,000 people visited Moscow’s FIFA Fan Fest™ on its opening day, 10th of June, when fans were thrilled by the vibrant music line-up and the presence of French FIFA World Cup™ champion Marcel Desailly and Russia’s all-time top scorer Aleksandr Kerzhakov.

Already since 2010, football fans can live their passion for collecting Panini stickers digitally, and that is what they defnitely do again at this year’s FIFA Football World Cup: just 3 weeks after launching the digital version of the popular Panini scrapbook, the application reaches 2 million users worldwide.
