mm sports has supported FC Schalke 04 in the marketing of its tricot sleeves. An innovative marketing concept was developed jointly together: the “Connected Badge”. The concept is no longer used primarily as a visual sponsor element but by means of a chip integrated into the tricot, it allows a variety of additional functions such as networking, communication, transaction, data storage etc. The concept is a central component of the rights package of the new premium partner AllyouneedFresh. Already at the start of the partnership the sleeve badge contains a chip with payment function so that all fans can pay with their jersey in the VELTINS Arena.
