Three strong partners with a vision for padel in Germany
Together with PadelCity and DAH Beteiligungs GmbH, we have founded the Munich-based company mm sports padel. The goal: to join forces to establish padel as both a popular and elite sport in Germany in the long term. The first major project is the Premier Padel P2 tournament in Düsseldorf from 20 to 28 September 2025.

PadelCity
PadelCity was founded in 2022 by FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick, entrepreneur and author Jonathan Sierck, and experienced serial entrepreneurs and investors Marcus Englert and Sebastian Weil. The company’s managing directors are Jonathan Sierck and Markus Balzat. With currently 20 facilities and over 100 courts, PadelCity is the largest padel sports provider in Germany and is gradually expanding its padel infrastructure.
DAH Beteiligungs GmbH
Through DAH Beteiligungs GmbH, the Hopp family of entrepreneurs makes direct investments in growth companies. It is also involved as a venture capitalist in a wide range of VC investments, including those related to commercial sport. The portfolio is continuously being developed.
