International FIFA Fan Festival™: FIFA is partnering up with AB InBev to bring the event to 6 major cities worldwide
The FIFA Fan Festival goes global! If not all fans can come to the FIFA World Cup, bring the FIFA World Cup to the fans! Six cities will host International FIFA Fan Festivals across the globe to bring the FIFA World Cup 2022 to the doorstep of fans.
FIFA has created a new licensing concept that provides a framework for hosting International FIFA Fan Festivals outside of the Host Country. AB InBev, is the first FIFA Commercial Affiliate to organize and deliver these events, taking on the title sponsorship with its brands Budweiser, Brahma and Corona.
The satellite events will complement the main FIFA Fan Festival in Doha’s Al Bidda Park, a newly reimagined experience that will create a go-to destination for all fans on-site in Qatar and will offer an electric experience of football, music, food and culture.
All International FIFA Fan Festival events will offer live match broadcasts from the FIFA World Cup in Qatar as well as various entertainment-driven activities, including performances by popular international DJs, local musicians and artists as well as appearances by FIFA Legends. Selected events will boast 4D immersive audio that will bring the sounds from the matches in Qatar to local events.
mm sports, together with the FIFA team, has created the new licensing framework to enable International FIFA Fan Festivals. mm sports also support FIFA in the implementation in cooperation and coordination with AB InBev.
